Crazy things living in Raleigh Sewers

Too bad they arn't teenage mutant ninja turtles.

It actually reminded me of the pods from Aliens. Maybe facehuggers will burst out of these. One can only hope for something so awesome.

Wired reports what these really are. I prefer to think these are crazy aliens. Or autonomous brains. Like Krang.

Robo-Geisha!

Geisha Chainsaw!

I'm not sure that the world needed this, but I'm sure someone feels more complete because this was made.

Ice Pirates Still Cool

Wired makes an Ice Pirates reference!
I love their Statgeist section. It's always on point, this one is no exception.

Transformers! Flash drive in disguise!

Uhh... Freaking awesome. It's a USB flash drive built into a Transformer. They should release a whole series of these.

Danger Mouse new album, a blank CD-R

This is either genius, or laziness.

I'd go with genius here.

Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse's Mark Linkous actually made an album, Dark Night of the Soul, and it's good. The entire thing is available streaming from NPR. Or you can get it from any number of torrent sites or music sharing forums. Either way, if you bought the blank CD-R, you paid for the license to the music. You are legally allowed to obtain the music by any means you want.

The Flaming Lips (or at least Wayne Cohen) show up on the album, as well as Frank Black (from the Pixies), Iggy Pop, Suzanne Vega and a bunch of others.

And you get a killer booklet (100+ pages) of photos by David Lynch if you buy the CD-R.
